About me

Namrata Anirudh, founder of The glass slipper

Namrata Anirudh

Namrata is a qualified lawyer who has worked on mandates for multiple global clients at prestigious law firms, financial institutions and international organizations. It was this legal experience that led her to see that there’s always an interesting – and untold – story embedded in every relationship, whether it's the ensuing drama or ego clashes that unfold in the boardroom or the bedroom! Namrata has edited several international peer-reviewed journals before editing and fine-tuning the manuscripts of a bestselling thriller novel and a business biography published to considerable success and featured on the BBC, CNBC and various other media. She has lent her voice to multiple TV channels, authored columns for many nationally renowned newspapers and magazines, and coordinated large press events for top educational institutions.

Namrata loves stories that represent socio-cultural confluence through a blend of Eastern and Western life. She is particularly interested in encouraging diverse authors, writers, and professionals, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA, differently-abled, neurodivergent, and/or marginalized individuals whose voices carry a global resonance or bring to the world something unique about a culture that would fascinate millions, if not billions!
